Every piece is cut to standard 16-inch lengths, split to fireplace-ready sizes, and air-dried for a minimum of 6–12 months. Properly seasoned wood means less smoke, more heat, and a cleaner burn. What species of wood do you deliver?
Our firewood comes from the trees we remove across the region — primarily maple, oak, ash, and birch. All dense hardwoods that burn hot and clean. Species mix varies by season and availability, but every load is quality hardwood seasoned for a minimum of 6–12 months.
What is a log lift bag?
A log lift bag is a large ventilated bulk bag designed specifically for firewood. Mesh panels on all sides allow airflow to continue seasoning the wood during storage. The bag keeps your firewood contained, clean, and off the ground — no loose pile, no scattered bark. It sits wherever you need it and folds flat when empty.
What's the difference between a face cord bag and a bush cord?
A face cord (also called a stove cord) is a stack 4 feet high by 8 feet long by 16 inches deep — roughly one-third of a full cord. Our face cord bags are the equivalent volume, bagged for easy handling. A bush cord (full cord) is 4 × 8 × 4 feet — three times the volume of a face cord.
Is the wood seasoned?
Yes. All firewood is air-dried for a minimum of 6–12 months before delivery. Properly seasoned wood means less smoke, more heat, and a cleaner burn. We do not deliver green wood.
When should I order?
The earlier the better. Spring deliveries are scheduled in March/April, and fall deliveries fill up fast — especially for subscription customers who get priority scheduling. We recommend locking in your order well before September to guarantee fall delivery.
