Climbing Arborist

$23.00 – $40.00 / hr

Tiny, ON (field-based)

Coordinate and execute tree removal, trimming, and pruning using safe felling techniques, climbing, and aerial lift equipment. You'll lead on-site operations, assess risk, and work alongside a skilled ground crew to get complex jobs done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute safe tree removal and pruning using climbing and aerial equipment
  • Assess on-site hazards and determine safest removal approach
  • Operate and maintain chainsaws, ropes, rigging hardware, and aerial lifts
  • Direct ground crew during operations to maintain safe perimeters
  • Process, chip, and haul tree material; leave sites clean

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario G licence minimum; DZ licence preferred
  • ISA or 444a Arborist Certification preferred
  • Experience in tree climbing and aerial lift operation
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and self-motivated

Tree Care General Technician / Driver

Tiny, ON (field-based)

Support our arborists and aerial operators from the ground using industry-standard practices. You'll drive equipment to job sites, manage the ground crew, process material, and keep sites safe and clean.

Responsibilities

  • Drive crew and equipment to job sites throughout Simcoe County (DZ required)
  • Assist climbers and aerial operators during tree removal and pruning
  • Manage brush and log processing using chipper and chainsaw
  • Set up and secure job site perimeters
  • Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance

Requirements

  • DZ Drivers Licence with clean drivers abstract (required)
  • Prior experience in tree care, forestry, or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round, including physically demanding conditions
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the industry

Sales Representative

Base salary + commission + bonus

Tiny, ON (field-based)

Drive new business and grow existing client relationships across Simcoe County. You'll be the first point of contact for residential and commercial property owners — assessing their tree care needs, preparing quotes, and closing work. A background in arboriculture or tree care gives you a real edge: clients trust a rep who knows the trade.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through referrals, canvassing, and inbound inquiries
  • Conduct on-site property assessments and prepare accurate quotes
  • Present tree care recommendations to homeowners and property managers
  • Follow up on estimates and convert quotes to booked work
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth job handoff and client satisfaction
  • Build long-term relationships with repeat commercial and residential clients

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience — field sales or home services preferred
  • Valid Ontario G driver's licence with clean abstract (required)
  • ISA Arborist Certification or Ontario 444a an asset
  • Ability to read a property and communicate tree care value clearly
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • CRM or estimating software experience an asset

Tree Care General Labourer

Full-time / Co-op / Student5 × 10-hour daysEntry-level welcome

$17.00 – $24.00 / hr

Tiny, ON (field-based)

Learn the trade alongside experienced arborists and technicians. This is an excellent entry point into the tree care industry — whether you're starting fresh, completing a co-op placement, or returning with some outdoor industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist arborists and technicians with tree removal, trimming, and pruning
  • Participate in job site setup and safe perimeter management
  • Process brush and logs using handsaws, loppers, and chip feed
  • Haul and dispose of tree material; rake and clean sites
  • Perform basic equipment care and maintenance tasks

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario G licence with clean drivers abstract
  • No formal arborist experience required — willingness to learn is essential
  • Experience in tree care, forestry, horticulture, or landscaping is an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather, physically active conditions
  • Dependable, positive attitude, and eager to develop skills
